Junior Golf Programs
Golf is a game for a lifetime, and there’s no better time to get started. The Course at Carey Park offers junior golf clinics, camps, and PGA Jr. League opportunities designed to help young golfers learn the fundamentals, build confidence, and develop a lasting love for the game.
Whether they’re holding a club for the first time or ready to take their skills onto the course, our junior programs provide a welcoming environment to learn, play, and grow.
Junior Golf Clinics
Our Junior Golf Clinics introduce young golfers to the fundamentals in a fun, supportive environment. Whether they’re new to the game or looking to strengthen their skills, these clinics focus on building confidence and developing good habits.
What to Expect
- Ages: Recommended for golfers ages 7–17.
- Instruction: Grip, stance, posture, putting, and swing fundamentals.
- Small Groups: Maximum student-to-instructor ratio of 8:1.
- Duration: One hour per session.
- Cost: $40 per clinic.
- Equipment: Golfers are encouraged to bring their own clubs, although some clubs are available to use.
- Scheduling: Clinics are held Tuesday through Thursday, with Friday reserved for weather-related make-up sessions.

A minimum of two participants is required for each clinic. Participants who complete a clinic receive a bucket of golf balls to continue practicing their skills.
Junior Golf Camps
Ready to take the next step? Our Junior Golf Camps give young golfers an opportunity to build on their fundamentals through focused instruction and on-course experience.
Designed for players with some previous golf experience, these four-day camps combine skill development, practical play, and a fun, supportive learning environment.
Camp Highlights
- Duration: Four days, beginning Tuesday.
- Daily Schedule: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, including two hours of instruction and two hours of on-course play, with lunch in between.
- Group Size: Limited to 20 participants.
- Instruction: Maximum student-to-instructor ratio of 6:1.
- Eligibility: Recommended for golfers ages 8 and older who have their own clubs and have completed at least one Junior Golf Clinic. Instructor-approved exceptions may be available.

PGA Jr. League
Learn Together. Play Together. Grow Together.
PGA Jr. League introduces young golfers to a fun, team-oriented approach to the game. Designed for boys and girls ages 13 and under, the program combines professional instruction, friendly competition, and opportunities to build lasting friendships.
Rather than focusing solely on individual scores, players develop their skills through team practices and matches in a supportive environment.
What to Expect
- Team-Based Golf: Young golfers practice and compete alongside teammates while developing sportsmanship and confidence.
- Professional Coaching: Structured practices help players improve their skills and understanding of the game.
- Friendly Competition: Matches use a two-person scramble format, making golf approachable and enjoyable for developing players.
- Team Gear: Participants receive program apparel and accessories as part of their registration package.
